The Bedford NH Tax Assessor has sent out proposed assessment values for your Bedford home.

Residents may or may not have known that the Town Council approved revaluations every two years instead of every five, with no vote of the people.

In our case, we felt the added $35K in value was not justified due to the fact that the interior of the home is in much disrepair and hasn’t been updated since built in 1989.

We sent a letter outlining the problems accompanied by photos.

If you wish to appeal your new valuation, YOU HAVE ONLY UNTIL AUGUST 13 to do so. You can do it in person as well, by making an appointment according to the instructions in the letter, or online.

If you write, please be advised they left out the TOWN in Vision’s address, which should be HUDSON, MA. Be sure to include your PID # as well.
