From their EventBrite page: The New Hampshire Housing Finance Agency (Authority?) and other key sponsors are partnering with Corporation for Supportive Housing to create a robust housing pipeline in New Hampshire that addresses the needs of our communities. To do this, we need your voice and input around the challenges and opportunities that communities are facing around housing.

Please note that The Corporation for Supportive Housing is a group from outside NH.

A charette is a community forum and planning process that jump starts and streamlines how a community addresses issues. Alongside local and regional experts, CSH will facilitate a robust discussion of the most pressing issue relating to the creation of more housing and how best to tackle them. Come share your voice, ideas and learn more about how to get involved!

These self-described “experts” are merely lobbyists who are tasked with imposing the federal / international urbanism agenda upon unwilling townspeople. A “charette” is a means to an end that is pre-determined by the hosts.

“While a “ground up” community-oriented planning process can help define what type of development citizens would like to see in their community, the charette is not a cost-effective advocacy tool to generate support for a specific plan already in mind“.

Also “A charrette is a carefully managed, collaborative design process aimed at providing a proposal that reflects the input, and, it is hoped, the approval,of all participants. As helpful as community-based charrettes may be in developing a good design, charrettes are not a miraculous cure-all for all entitlement and “not in my backyard” (NIMBY) problems.”
